Skip Weisman

Skip participated in the Greater Detroit Metro Project Management Institute (PMI) Conference in 2019, where he delivered a keynote speech to a captivated audience. Three weeks after 9/11 Skip began his second professional career as a business coach to small business leaders and their teams of employees to improve workplace communication that leads to high levels of teamwork and collaboration and championship performance results.

Skip wrote extensively as part of his thought leadership on small business workplace communication and spoke on stages at industry conferences and corporate events for 22 years before retiring into full time writing in 2023.

In Skip’s first career he served five different minor league professional baseball franchises as President & CEO leading organizations affiliated with the Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, and Texas Rangers. in 1987 The Sporting News recognized Skip as Executive of the Year for all Class A baseball. In 1998 Skip’s team, the Hudson Valley Renegades, was recognized industry publication Baseball America as its Organization of the Year.

As a business coach Skip was famous for his dynamic thought leadership on workplace communication and captivating, engaging, and humorous keynote speeches and workshops. His client work led him to create his signature program, Overcoming The 7 Deadliest Communication Sin. That live workshop and keynote speech became the title of his first book published in 2018, leading to his third career as a professional writer and author.
